The speaker Mpara town council in Kyegegwa district, Bunihizi Aheebwa Josephat has been pinpointed among the people encroaching on Mpara Senior Secondary School land in Mpara town council.

The allegations of Bunihiza encroaching on Mpara SS land was contained in a communication delivered by John Byabasaija the Mayor Mpara town council, while addressing councilors on the state of affairs of the town council during a council meeting chaired by the Speaker Bunihizi Aheebwa Josephat held at the town council headquarters on Wednesday 03rd this year.

During the board of governors meeting of Mpara SS, it was observed that Mr. Bunihizi Aheebwa Joseph, is still encroaching on their land. “Byabasaija quoted.”

While referring to him as an individual not as a speaker, Byabasaija further advised him to sort out that mess citing that it’s not genuine him being a leader and start conflicting with a government institution threatening to forward that matter to higher authorities including court.

This is not the first time for the same matter to appear in this council. In May this year, the same matter was raised and the council ruled that the area land committee of Mpara town council, headed by Julius Natugonza visit the locus and engage both parties so that the matter can be solved amicably.

On Wednesday’s council, Natugonza was also tasked to brief the councilors about their findings and castigated that basing on the agreement, Bunihizi sold part of his land for the school to use it as a road measuring {10 ft.} width adding that it was realized Bunihiza had blocked the road penetrating through his same land.
