No Food Vendor in Nakaseke will operate without a medical Certificate

Nakaseke Town Council Has today carried out a Medical Examination exercise to all Food Vendors

Nakaseke Town Council every year conducts a Medical Examination to all food vendors especially those operating restaurants, Chapati makers and all dealing in drinks like Juice and Munanasi

The Health Inspector Mr. Rashid Ssemuddu said that this medical test examination is mandatory to all venders dealing in food and drinks.  The reason he gave is that food handlers must always be health to avoid spreading diseases like food born diseases , Tuberculosis  skin Infections and Typhoid.

When asked about those who will not turn up for medical fitness he said that  the Council has the responsibility of closing their business until they  respond positively  and if they refuse their operation licenses will be terminated.
