Director of health monitoring unit Mr. Jumba called up on community members of Nakaseke town council to feel free to report any illegal act for instance bribes before treatment, misuse of government assets, misuse of government funds and other activities of that sort in the hospital to the government for action. Most of the community members claimed that there is insufficient supply of medicine to an extent that patients are only given pain killers, They wanted to know why patients are chargedĀ  with given amount of money on discharge, one of the community members asked the medical SupredantĀ  to consider the transforming of Nakaseke general hospital into a referral hospital due to the fact that it admits patients from neighboring districts which leads to lack of enough medicine to the community members and there was demand for change in the hospital administration committee.

Dr. Benard OkongĀ  the Medical supredant answered that there are different policies on how to run the hospital and asserted that there is some little amount of money required before a patient is discharged, ie 15000/= for usual admission and 75000/= for patients taken to the theaters and a receipt should be issued. He also added that money taken by the health worker without receipt is illegal and punishment is given to the culprit. A toll-free number 0800200447 was given to community members to report any misuse of funds
