Museveni drops Col. Katabazi as deputy ISO, appoints him deputy ambassador

President Yoweri Museveni has removed Col. Emmy Katabazi from his position as Deputy Director General of the Internal Security Organisation (ISO) and appointed him Deputy Ambassador.

According to a press statement issued by the State House Presidential Press Unit, President Museveni has also appointed Mr Arthur Mugyenyi as the new Director General of the Internal Security Organisation (ISO), filling the vacancy left by the death of Brig. Gen. Charles Oluka on 29 January 2025.

Additionally, the President has named Mr Tony Kinyera Apecu as the Deputy Director General of ISO.
