As part of its 25th anniversary celebrations, Premier Distilleries Limited (PDL) on Saturday held a colorful award ceremony in Lira City to honor the first winners of its Bikole Masavu campaign in the Lango subregion. The event saw lucky consumers walk away with a variety of prizes, including a Tuk-Tuk (motor-tricycle), motorcycle, flat-screen TV, smartphones, cash, and more.
Held at Teso-Bar in Lira City West Division, the ceremony was part of PDL’s nationwide Bikole Masavu promotion, which aims to reward loyal customers who purchase Simba Gin and Coffee-Flavored Vodka.
Among the top winners was Ogwal Emmanuel, a resident of Boroboro, who received the grand prize — a brand-new Tuk-Tuk. Ogwal, who emphasised that he drinks responsibly, expressed overwhelming gratitude and said the vehicle would positively transform his life.
Another winner, Terry Acir from Kakoge in Lira City West Division, won a Bajaj motorcycle after sending 15 codes from bottle caps. Acir said he initially received instant airtime and a draw message, which he doubted until his win was confirmed.
Also among the lucky winners was Odoc Sam of Kichope, who won a Samsung Galaxy A06 smartphone valued at UGX 500,000 after purchasing three bottles of Coffee Spirits. He said the phone will enable him to connect on Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and even stream videos.
PDL’s regional distributor, Sani Reddy, who presided over the handover ceremony, said the campaign is a way of showing appreciation to customers in the Lango subregion, who have supported the brand for decades.
The Bikole Masavu campaign is part of PDL’s silver jubilee celebrations and gives consumers a chance to win both instant and weekly prizes.
PDL remains committed to community development and rewarding the customers who have contributed to its enduring success.
