Woman arrested for cutting off husband’s genitals

Police in Kamuli have arrested a 35-year-old woman for allegedly attempting to murder her husband by cutting off his genitals. 

According to the police statement, the incident occurred on 18 February 2025 at about 11:00pm at their residence.

The suspect identified as Kevin Nabirye is a resident of Buguwa village, Kawaga Parish Balawoli Subcounty in Kamuli District. The victim has been identified as Bwamiki Mathis 37.

Initial findings indicate that one brother to the victim Identified as Mukubo Godfrey received a phone call from the victim informing him of the incident.

Upon reaching  home, the victim was still struggling with the wife and in a pool of blood. He rescued the brother before reporting the matter to police.

The Victim has been taken to Kamuli General Hospital where he is admitted 

Exhibits of evidential value have been recovered from the scene and further investigations are ongoing
