The increasing rate of people committing suicide in Namayingo District worries religious and political leaders as the combined efforts to condemn the same.

Speaking to the Mourners at the send-off ceremony of one Efumbi Erineyo 62 years at Ebale Village, Magori Ward, Banda Town council in Namayingo District who committed suicide on Saturday last week, Paster Zakayo Opio, the lead pastor of Lugala end time Church revealed that the suicide acts are illegal and not accepted by God and added that they should not be buried in a Christian way for others to learn from

Oguttu Boniventure, the Mayor of Banda Town council, revealed that the deceased committed suicide because his son was arrested for defiling a 6year old child and the deceased attempted to induce the police to free his son which police refused and after returning home he killed himself
