Jinja ghetto youth vow to back Museveni in 2026 elections

National Resistance Movement (NRM) ghetto youth in Jinja City have resolved to support President Museveni come 2026 if they are empowered in government programs

and also police to reduce on the arrest which is always being carried out on them after suspecting them to be behind such incidents.

Over 100 Ghetto Youth that gathered at Casiino Bar Lubasi road to interact with security officials here in Jinja city have noted how they have been over misled with political leaders to work for them during elections and after are forgotten and most of them joins such bad groups which later cause them problems.

To gather with their president Kibwiika Deo they have however  asked security to fulfill the promise that the president of Uganda made to meet them in May this year so that they show him their cause to support NRM and also noted how most of them have got talents and skills for some other activities but they lack support and money. ghetto people.

However, the DPC of Jinja CPS SP Mubangizi Innocent who organized this meeting at Casiino has asked the Ghetto Youths not to risk and be misled in this upcoming general elections for 2026 to guard the politicians who will just use them and after forgets them to recourse the earth.

He has assured them  to reduce on its speed of arresting them provided they can work closely with police to look for such bad elements in them that as security no way they can stop the arrest if some cases are being caused by themselves as ghetto youth.
