Hon. Ferigo writes to Museveni to reactivate Kilembe mines Hospital

The permanent secretary Ministry of health, Dr. Diana Atwine wrote to the Director Joint Medical stores ordering for deactivation of Kilembe Mines Hospital and transfer Essential Medicines and Health Supplies to other facilities.
Kasese Municipal Member of Parliament Hon. Ferigo Kambale has written to the office of the president appealing against deactivation of Kilembe mines hospital medical supplies.

According to a letter, a copy obtained by this radio and received by state house last evening, Ferigo asked for urgent intervention of the president to direct Ministry of health to reactivate the hospital that serves many people in the community.
The Ministry of Health Permanent secretary Dr. Daina Atwine, wrote to the Joint medical stores directing them to stop distributing drugs to Kilembe Mines Hospital.
Ferigo called for calm among the community saying through the wise leadership of President Museveni a lasting solution will be reached soon.
