Kasese NRM Cadres endorses Museveni as sole candidate 2026

Kasese district National Resistance Movement (NRM) Carders have endorsed President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as the Party’s sole candidate for the year 2026 general elections.

Meanwhile, NRM Cadres in Kasese district have endorsed President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as the National Resistance Movement NRM’s party sole candidate for the 2026 general elections.

The state Minister for National Guidance Hon. Godfrey Baluku Kabbyanga said the move is aimed to bring back president Museveni as sole candidate.

Before the endorsement, hundreds of NRM cadres yesterday held a procession in Kasese Municipality, before converging at Boma grounds of which they performed the endorsement.

Kabyanga said endorsing president Museveni’s sole candidature, proposed an agenda to the NRM Government that will ensure that the Kasese residents, get out of poverty, create more jobs for youths and get better social services among others.

Ms. Christine Muhindo, the senior presidential advisor in charge of Rwenzori Region, commended NRM Government for empowering women in Business and Agriculture.

Mr. Benenzeri Bulungule, a resident of Kinyaminagha in Kyabarungira sub-county, who is among those that raised the motion to endorse Museveni, said he is the best, because he has performed in promoting peace and security among others.
