Bishop Nason calls for unity and hard work in Church

Ven. Ezra Muhindo has been installed as the second Archdeacon of Ibanda Archdeaconary.

Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku, the Bishop of South Rwenzori Diocese, has installed Ven. Ezra Muhindo as the second Archdeacon of Ibanda Archdeaconry, calling on Christians to embrace hard work, unity, and peaceful coexistence as pillars for prosperity and spiritual growth.

Speaking during the yesterday installation service at the Ibanda Archdeaconry headquarters, where he also confirmed 183 Christians into the Anglican faith, Bishop Baluku urged believers to work collectively in advancing Christ’s evangelization mission and promoting socio-economic development.

Speaking shortly after the service, the Head of Laity for Ibanda Archdeaconry, Mr. Enos Masereka Mutheya, expressed confidence in Ven. Ezra Muhindo’s ability to effectively lead the archdeaconry and advance its mission with the full support of the Christians.

Ven. Ezra Muhindo, the newly installed Archdeacon, urged Christians to emulate the different parts of the human body, which work together harmoniously while performing distinct roles without conflict, noting that collective effort and peaceful coexistence are essential for the growth of the Church and the transformation of society.

In a separate interview, Mrs. Edith Nyabahasa could not hide her excitement following the installation of her husband as Archdeacon, describing the milestone as a dream come true and a divine reward for her late father in law, who dedicated his life wholeheartedly to serving Christ.
