Several health facilities in Kasese District have received medical equipment.
Reach A Hand Uganda has donated essential medical equipment worth 500 million shillings to several health facilities in Kasese District, in a major boost to healthcare service delivery in the region.
The medical supplies were officially handed over at the district headquarters yesterday, where the organisation’s Rwenzori Regional Manager, Dr Nathan Gonzaga, called on health workers and district officials to safeguard the equipment and promote inclusive healthcare provision for the community.

Mr Mustafa Kikusa, the Principal Secretary to the Kasese Chief Administrative Officer, commended Reach A Hand Uganda for the donation, and appealed to the organisation and other development partners to extend similar support to more health facilities across Kasese District in order to improve access to quality medical care.
Mr Jeremiah Bwanandeka, the Kasese District Vice Chairperson, described the donation as a “healing hand” extended by Reach A Hand Uganda to the people of Kasese.

The beneficiary health facilities that received the medical equipment include Buhuhira Health Centre, Ibanda Health Centre, Kalibu Health Centre, Kanyatsi Health Centre, Karusandara Health Centre, and Kyampara Health Centre.
