Local Council One elections gain Momentum in Kizungu cell.

As campaigns for the Local Council One elections gather momentum, the incumbent chairperson for Kizungu Cell in Kasese Municipality, Mr. Fanahasi Wakibanahe, has called on all candidates to use respectful language and peaceful approaches while canvassing for votes to help prevent tensions after the elections.

Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio yesterday, Mr. Wakibanahi pledged to strengthen security, promote unity among residents, and provide consultative leadership focused on finding collective solutions to challenges affecting the community if re-elected.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ramadhan Kule Kalegha, an independent candidate for the LC1 chairperson seat for Saluti B Cell in Kasese Municipality, has pledged to strengthen lobbying efforts for improved road infrastructure, desilt drainage channels, enhance access to safe water, and promote freedom and unity among residents if elected.
