By Francis Muhanya Muhindo,

Mr. Robert Mitse, the Kasese District NRM Administrator, has renewed calls for party cadres to leverage the confidence and trust that President Yoweri Museveni has demonstrated in Kasese District as an opportunity to strengthen support for the NRM government while enhancing service delivery to local communities.

He emphasized that the President’s continued commitment to the district should translate into tangible development outcomes and increased grassroots mobilization for the ruling party.

Addressing the press at Rwenzori Square yesterday, Mr. Mitse expressed confidence in the ability of Rt. Hon. Dr. Crispus Kiyonga, the newly appointed Second Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Leader of Government Business in Parliament, and Gen. Wilson Mbasu Mbadi, the Minister of State for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, to effectively deliver on their new responsibilities.

He said their proven track record of public service, leadership experience, and dedication to national development positioned them well to advance government programs and meet the expectations of Ugandans.

Mr. Mitse Robert thanking President Museveni for securing two ministerial positions for Kasese.

Mr. Mitse called on party cadres to intensify political mobilization efforts across Kasese District, saying this would help sustain the party’s support base and strengthen engagement with the electorate.

He criticized opposition political parties, arguing that many had failed to translate their promises into tangible development outcomes for the people of Kasese, leaving residents with unfulfilled expectations rather than practical solutions to their challenges
