Kilembe Mines Hospital has been donated with medical supplies worthy over shs 100M

Kilembe mines hospital in Kasese Municipality has received a consignment of medical supplies worthy over one hundred million shillings with a call on various stakeholders to invest in the health sector for the good of the local community.

Addressing the media at the hospital premises this afternoon, Mr. Chance Kahindo Sibyabugha said the establishment of several health facilities in Kasese Municipality was in line with President Museveni’s dream to have services nearer to the local population.

He appreciated the donation which he said was another gradient for a health community. His Worship Chance speaking………

The Bulembia Division Chairperson, Mr. Richard Bomera called for expedited deliberations about the fate of Kilembe Mines hospital by parliament, before asking government to pass tough laws against the corrupt staff in public health facilities. Mr. Bomera speaking……

Mr. Timothy Baluku, a senior medic at the facility said the Dactary project from Belgium supplied them with medical equipment including Oxygen concentrators, Trolleys, theatre bed and other requirements to save the lives of the community. Mr. Timothy speaking……..
