Kasese business tycoon’s kidnapped son released for ten million shillings

Mr. Willy Asaba aged 38 son to Kasese business tycoon, Mr. Asaba Paul Mudaki who was reportedly kidnapped by unknown people on Sunday last week has finally been released after paying ransom of ten million shillings cash by his family.

Police spokesperson for Rwenzori East Region, SP. Nelson Tumushiime, confirmed the information this afternoon saying Mr. Willy Asaba was discovered dumped in Kyababinga along Kasese-Bwera Highway in Kasese Municipality, after unidentified kidnappers received their ransom.

Mr. Mudaki told Kasese Guide Radio shortly after recording police statement at Kasese Divisional Police that his son Willy a driver, was allegedly hired by unknown passengers at 11.00pm Sunday night to transport them to Customs Expo Boarder Point in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council.

Mudaki alleged that while on the way his son Willy was sprayed with coliform and forced to park at Katoho trading centre, before the kidnappers demanded a ransom of two hundred million shillings.

Earlier, in the Audio that went viral on different social media platforms, the Kidnappers had allegedly mentioned Mr. Asaba Mudaki as their next target over allegations of adultery.
