Suspected armed man is on hunt in Kasese Municipal

Residents cleaning the bush where the un-identified armed man was hiding from.

The local leaders and community in Katadoba cell Kasese Municipality have called for urgent hunt into the arrest of a suspected armed man who encamped in the bush in the area.

Some yet to be confirmed information revealed to our reporter that the plans to identify the suspected yet to be identified armed man follow an incident where he threatened the guards manning Katadoba market last night.

The area local council two chairperson for Nyakabingo 2 ward, Mr Isaac Kalyabyuma said the suspected armed man has been staying in a hide out along kyebambe road in Kasese municipality.

Kalyabyuma calls for vigilance and timely reporting to security and local authorities about suspected criminals in the area. He also described alcohol consumption beyond 10pm as a security threat in Nyakabingo two ward, saying security operatives and the local leadership have intensified night patrols. END.
