Mbale City set to get LDC campus

Plans are underway to open a Law Development Center (LDC) campus in Mbale City with the aim of extending the Bar Course across the country to train professional lawyers.

The campus is set to be opened on June 1, this year and will bring to three the number of upcountry campuses after Mbarara and Lira. 

This revelation was made during a visit by the LDC top management in Mbale recently.

The Chairperson of the management Committee, Justice Paul Mugamba led the team to meet several stakeholders including the Resident City Commissioner, District Chairperson as well as the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs. 

Justice Magumba, says that it is part of the government policy and mandate to take services closer to the people.

He asks for cooperation of the local community and other leaders.
