Pader District Receive 10.1 Billion Shillings for Third Quarter of FY 2022/2023

Pader district local government has received 10,171, 391,372 billion shillings from the central government for the third quarter of 2022/2023 financial year.

The revelation was made by Pader district RDC Milton Odongo during his weekly address to the masses.

Pader District Chief Administrative Officer Mr. Adebuason Robert in a letter dated 16th/1/2023 confirmed receipt of the money.

According to the letter, wages and salaries took the lion share of the money with 5.5 billion shillings, while pension took 371.8 million shillings.

Development was allocated 2.1 billion shillings, non-wage recurrent 1.5 billion shillings and local revenue was allocated 74.8 million shillings.

Mr. Adebuason also said the district has already disbursed 88.3 million shillings to the lower local governments that include 18 sub counties and 5 town councils in Pader.
