NRM pressure group pledges to mobilise votes for President Museveni in 2026

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Pressure group dubbed “Generation Seven” has pledged to mobilise over 6 million votes for the NRM Presidential candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in 2026 general election.

The development was announced by the National Coordinator of Generation Seven Mr. Mukasa Stephen during the subregional re-launch held today at the former Akii Bua studium in Lira City.

Mukasa stated that through the grassroot mobilisation, the team targets to mobilise 6,263,187 votes.

He called for unity, respect and disciple emphasising that there is life after politics.

Mr. Gilbert Olinga, the national coordinator Generation Seven tasked different coordinators to generously mobilise for President Museveni and protect the gains, NRM government has put in place.

Meanwhile Mr. Abongo Walter, a member of National steering committee under planning department and also the person secretary to National Coordinator stated that the youth led group is not affiliated to any political party but rather serve the legacy of NRM government under the leadership of President Museveni.

He stressed that the pressure group is well structured and balanced hence urging youth to overwhelmingly protect the gain and re-elect President Museveni.

Generation Seven which was launched in 2019, has a total of 4,741 members across the country.
