Graduates urged to be job creators

Young women Christian association YWCA vocation institute has today held its 28th graduation ceremony with over 366 graduates awarded certificates and diploma in different courses.

At the ceremony, the guest of honor, Hon. Maria Mukhaye who is the woman member of parliament Mbale district said graduates should always try and create jobs instead of looking for employment elsewhere.

She added that they should be innovative enough and form SACCO‘s so as to benefit from Government programs such as Emyooga, PDM Parish development Model in order to develop themselves individually.

Meanwhile at the same ceremony Annet Nakanyike, the principal of the institution cautioned the graduates to be with discipline first and be determined besides their academic excellence.
