GULU CITY — Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) President, Maj. Gen. Mugisha Muntu, has urged Ugandans to vote for leaders who genuinely care about their communities and are committed to improving service delivery.

Speaking on Sunday afternoon during a joint consultative meeting between ANT and the People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) at St. Monica in Gulu City, Muntu criticised the current leadership, accusing many officials of looting public resources for personal gain while neglecting the needs of their constituents.

“The true value of voting should be reflected in improved roads, schools, healthcare, and services that benefit all citizens,” Muntu said.

Hon. Betty Aol Ocan, PFF’s Vice Chairperson for Northern Uganda, echoed Muntu’s message, urging voters to reject bribery and not cast their votes based on money.

“Do not vote for cash handouts,” Aol said. “Vote for someone who will genuinely deliver.”
