On 4 May 2025, residents of Nalubwoyo Sub-county were left astonished when Col Dr Francis Ongia pledged financial support of 2 million shillings to the community of Alwala A Village for the construction of a new borehole.

This substantial contribution came in response to urgent appeals from villagers, who highlighted their critical need for access to clean drinking water—an essential resource that has long been lacking in the area.

Col Ongia urged voters to support candidates who prioritise transformative change in their communities, particularly through improvements in infrastructure such as roads, schools, and hospitals. “We need leaders who will genuinely work for you,” he insisted.
