Contestant hopeful for Kyoga County MP in 2026, Colline Angwech, who also serves as the country director of Far Away Friends, had the honor of meeting with pilgrims from Amolatar on May 28. The pilgrims, currently in Luwero, exhibited remarkable resilience and offered their gratitude to Angwech.
Expressing her sentiments to the pilgrims, Angwech conveyed her deep admiration for their determination, especially highlighting the youngest pilgrim, 13-year-old Jonathan Kula, and the revered elders, some of whom are in their sixties.
She beseeched the divine to continue showering blessings upon them and ensuring their safety throughout their journey, as they engage in prayer and advocacy on behalf of all.
Additionally, she urged the pilgrims to pray for their hometown of Amolatar, asking for divine guidance in granting the community virtuous leaders characterized by compassion, integrity, and unwavering commitment to community progress and welfare.
Angwech emphasized that it is only through divine intervention that exceptional leaders are bestowed upon us.
