Kibaale civil Servants resort to community Service after hit by limited funding in the district

Over 70 Civil servants of Kibaale district local government have demonstrated to the rest of the communities through participating in Community Service (Burungi-Bwansi) frame work that was recently launched by the district leadership to improve service delivery in the area.
The exercise which was spearhead by the Kibaale district chief administrative officer (CAO) John Katotoroma was conducted yesterday at the district headquarters where civil servant slashed and swept the whole district headquarter compound.
They also planted memorials trees.
In his message, CAO John Katotoroma asked the leadership of Kibaale district sub counties and town councils to emulate the same spirit at their respective work places.
The Kibaale district Lc5 chairperson Godfrey Muhonge Kasanga hailed the civil servants for their team spirit during community service work.
He noted that there should be a mandatory day in a month for the district staff to participate in community service.
