Man arrested for stealing, hiding a goat in a pit latrine in Kagadi

In a bizarre turn of events, a 38-year-old man has been apprehended in Kabamba Sub County, Kagadi district, for the alleged theft of a goat.

The incident unfolded yesterday (Sunday) in Ruzaire ‘A’ village, Kabamba Sub County, leaving the victim, Byaruhanga Yohana, distressed.

Two weeks ago, the accused, Yohana, reportedly trespassed into the kraal (farm) of Reverend Father Katende and made off with a goat.

What makes this case particularly unusual is that Yohana decided to conceal the stolen animal in a pit latrine on his property.

The goat’s hiding spot was eventually uncovered during a manhunt, leading to the arrest of the suspect.
