A 30-year-old man commit suicide by hanging in Kagadi

A 30 year old man has committed suicide by hanging in Pachwa Sub County, Kagadi district over unknown reasons.  

The deceased has been identified as January Tom a resident of Nasut village, Pachwa sub county, Kagadi district.

January hanged himself using a piece of his jacket cloth in Rwengeye forest yesterday morning (Sunday).

The deceased was discovered by fisher men who went to catch mad fish in the nearby River.

Speaking to Our reporter, the Nasut Lc1 chairperson Ibrahim Semanta confirmed the matter and said after the incident he alerted Pachwa police which rushed at the scene for further investigation.

Upon reaching at the scene, Pachwa Police led by CID William Lubega, allowed the relatives of the deceased person to organise for the burial arrangements after conducting a postmortem examination.

Lubega asked the general public to always seek for guidance from their relatives or leaders before committing such gruesome acts.

By Press time getting a recorded comment from either CID Lubega or the Albertin region Police Spokesperson Julius Allan Hakiza were futile.
