One dead, two injured in brutal attack on family in Kagadi

The concept of brutal murder emphasises not only inflicting suffering on a victim but also committing murder with cruelty and extreme violence.

Unknown assailants have attacked a family in Kagadi district, resulting in one death and two critical injuries for reasons yet to be determined. The assault took place early this morning at around 3:30 AM in Nyamanga cell, Muhorro town council.

Asuman Kisembo, the LC1 chairperson for Nyamanga cell, reported that a woman was found bound with ropes, with her child deceased and another child severely injured. The deceased has been identified as William Murungi, a pupil at Good Hope Foundation Schools in Muhorro.

The critically injured woman has been identified as Phionah Ahaisibwe and her child Fred Musinguzi, who are both currently receiving treatment at Doctors Clinic in Muhorro town. Kisembo condemned the violent attack and urged the police to conduct a thorough investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Local residents have also expressed outrage and called for prompt action from law enforcement.

By press time, Kagadi Police had arrived at the crime scene to begin their investigation. However, they were unavailable for comment at that time.
