Scholars appealed to the community government and non government organizations to protect their rights and save them from destroyers of their Future. While speaking to the gathering at Nakabugu Moslem primary in luuka district at the day of African child celebrations DAC funded by different nongovernment organizations and spearheaded by plan international Uganda and korea international agency with a them of planning and budgeting for day of African children.

The children led by one Bitaminsi who acted as a chief guest a gesture of responsibility among the children, expressed her concern over the growing tendencies by parents who neglect them

Those who were in debate said they are harassed and not given access to social services like education health facilities and sanitary pads during their periods
