The community have been appealed to look at women as partners than calling them house wives whose work is to look after children and manufacturers of children. Speaking at the launch of the woman entrepreneurs at kingdom Kampala to day 1st of November 2025 spearhead by Uganda women entrepreneurs Association (UWEAL) Dr Rimond mugume the pcycolgist said woman should be allowed to enjoy the benefits as an entrepreneur and given chance to excise there duties when chance comes.
As of today UWEAL together with other organizations engaged the women entrepreneurs across Kampala at kingdom Kampala targeting over 500 women entrepreneurs. The event will serve official launch of month of the women entrepreneurs dedicated to empowering inspiring and promoting women in business across Uganda. Activities like mental health dialogue as well as market Days brings together over 500 women entrepreneurs health practitioners and development partners for two days of wellness networking and enterprise engagement. These will focus on promoting women’s health and productivity to recognizing the good health id the foundation for sustainable entrepreneurship. Under the theme “Healthy woman, wealthy Nation” emphasizing the link between health and economic empowerment. The two days will feature sensitization about Grow project, capacity building on board woman entrepreneurs on the Women Entrepreneurs platforms (WEPS) fitness sessions, mental health dialogue, car washing driving drive, garage sale and market exhibition showcasing products and innovation by woman entrepreneurs.

Miss Elizabeth kasenene who is the chairperson for Uganda women Entrepreneur Association asked the community and women to focus on health before making the business success.

The executive director for UWEAL Mrs conie kekihembo said they intend also to have a resource center for woman where they can learn to operate businesses and pledged to move this upto parliament so that they are be catered for upto information technology section
