Schools in Lango Shine in 2022 PLE

Schools in Lango sub-region have shined in the just released 2022 Primary Leaving Examinations results.

Many schools have registered good performance in the 2022 results compared to the 2020 results.

In Lira City, Mantle Day and Boarding Primary School registered the highest number of candidates in division one with a total of 136, and only 7 in division two out of the 143 registered candidates.

Alfred Munu, the School’s Chairperson of Board of Directors attributed the good results to hard work and efforts by the school, parents, and children.

Central Primary School registered 121 in division one and 14 in division 2 out of 135 registered candidates.

Martin Apenyo, the school; Deputy Headteacher was grateful to all the stakeholders for the results.

At Saving Grace Primary School, all 56 registered candidates scored division one with two candidates getting an aggregate 4.

Isaac Odoch, the school headteacher says this was a better result compared to last year.

St. Thomas Day and Boarding Primary School registered 56 candidates in division one and 40 in 2nd grade. Leticia Okori emerged as the best pupil with an aggregate 5.

Thomas Otema, the school director commended parents, pupils, and teachers of the school for the good performance.

St. Kizito Day and Boarding primary registered 137 in division one and two in division two of the 139 registered candidates.

Godwin Claine Esimu, Maria Gorreti Munguryek, Emmanuel Ogwang, and Ronnie Otim emerged best candidates with all in aggregate 4.

Adyel Day and Boarding Primary School registered 67 candidates in grade one and 52 in second grade of the 119 registered candidates.

Crane Junior School registered 26 candidates in grade one and 12 in grade two, and 1 in grade three of the 39 registered candidates.

BarApwo Primary School registered 43 in first grade, 120 in 2nd grade, 9 in third grade 3 in 4th grade and 1 in Division U out of 179 registered candidates.

Bishop Ceaser Asili Memorial Primary school registered 10 in first grade, 60 in 2nd grade of the 70 registered candidates.

In Dokolo district, The Grace Primary School registered 87 in first grade, and 11 in grade two of the 98 registered candidates according to Robert Obene, the headteacher of the school.

Meanwhile, in Otuke district the overall results indicate that a total of 47 candidates scored division one and 664 in division two of the registered 1, 987 candidates.

Overall, a total of 114, 617 candidates who sat in the 2022 Primary Leaving Examination – PLE scored division one according to UNEB executive Director, Dan Odongo.
