Hundreds turn up for Eid prayers at UMSC Mbale

Moslem faithful from different Mosques (masjids) around the Mbale City conveyed at the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council grounds that was officially opened up today.

The NRM women’s league representative, Hon. Lydia Wanyoto called for unity and peace amongest the Muslim community amidst many emerging factions. She urged them to always support other government programs in the community for development.

The deputy RCC Northern city division, Hamza Banja while delivering his speech congratulated the Moslem community for completing Ramadan. He also called upon them to remain with the same faith they had during the fasting period.

District Kadhi Bugisu, Shk. Ahmed Masaba apologized for the poor terrain at the praying ground and also refuted allegations the grounds were sold.
