In a commendable achievement, Namsale Technical School proudly announced that 482 students have successfully passed the recently released Ubteb exams for November/December of the previous year.

This positive outcome has brought significant hope and pride to the institution, as Head Teacher Canon Ogwal Moses Owinyreported that all 428 students who sat for the exams last year excelled.

While addressing our reporter, Canon Ogwal encouraged parents to consider enrolling their children—who have just received their results—into diploma programs, as the government is still accepting students due to the delays in last year’s Ubteb results. “We don’t want any child to miss out on the opportunity to further their education,” he emphasized.

Looking ahead, the school is gearing up for the July/August Ubteb Exams, with over 400 students preparing diligently for the upcoming tests scheduled from August 8th to 22nd this year. Canon Ogwal expressed optimism regarding their performance, noting the school’s commitment to academic excellence.

The head teacher also took a moment to express gratitude to the government for its efforts in fostering a sense of patriotism among students.

He remarked that this initiative has significantly enhanced discipline within the school environment, creating a more conducive atmosphere for learning. “Our students are not only focused on their studies but are also embracing the values of responsibility and respect for their nation,” he added.

As the holidays approach, Canon Ogwal provided advice to students returning home. He urged them to steer clear of political activities and instead focus on supporting their families.

“This is a time for unity and helping our parents, who have worked hard to provide for us,” he stressed.

However, the school continues to face challenges, particularly related to excessive sunshine, which has negatively impacted fee payments and the availability of food supplies. Canon Ogwal acknowledged these difficulties, stating, “We are working closely with parents and stakeholders to address these concerns as we strive to create the best possible educational environment for our students.”

In conclusion, Namsale Technical School remains dedicated to its mission of providing quality education while navigating the challenges ahead with resilience and community support.
