Museveni appoints new ISO director general and deputy director general

The Presidential Press Unit (PPU) announces that His Excellency, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda, has appointed Mr Arthur Mugyenyi as the new Director General of the Internal Security Organisation (ISO). This appointment follows the passing of Brig. Gen. Charles Oluka on 29th January 2025. Additionally, Mr Tony Kinyera Apecu has been named the Deputy Director General of ISO, succeeding Col. Emma Katabazi, who has been appointed as Deputy Ambassador.
