Amolatar’s Agalo-Iping hails Kioga North’s Okodo Peter

On Monday, June 2, 2025, the atmosphere in Agalo-Iping village, nestled within Ogenga parish of Arwotcek subcounty, radiated with excitement and hope as Mr. Okodo Peter, a promising candidate for the Kioga North Constituency, made a remarkable contribution to the community.

He delivered two trips of sand and gravel for the construction of a borehole, along with ten bags of cement, to the Agalo St. Mary’s Church of Uganda, symbolising not only his dedication to the area but also the positive change he aims to bring.

Receiving the cement on behalf of the church members, Mr. Ocan Moris praised Mr. Okodo Peter for honoring his commitment. “Throughout my life, I have never encountered a leader quite like Mr. Okodo Peter,” he declared passionately.

His words resonated deeply with the gathered crowd, who appeared eager to support a candidate who genuinely cares about their well-being. Mr. Ocan encouraged fellow christians in Kioga North to rally behind Mr. Okodo Peter at the polls, emphasising the kindness and sincerity he has demonstrated.

Mr. Openo Sam also took the opportunity to commend Mr. Okodo Peter, appreciating his willingness to assist a community that had often been overlooked by other candidates. “Many candidates in Kioga North ignored our pleas, but Mr. Okodo came to our aid,” he said, reinforcing the commitment of the community to fully support Mr. Okodo Peter’s candidacy. There was a palpable sense of unity among the residents, bolstered by their shared desire for representation that truly reflects their needs and aspirations.

Furthermore, Mrs. Eunice Ojok articulated a pressing issue that had long plagued the village—the struggle for access to clean water. Previously, efforts led by Popow had fallen short, but upon reaching out to Mr. Okodo Peter, the villagers found a responsive ally. “He delivered sand and gravel to us on that fateful Monday,” Mrs. Ojok noted. Her voice, filled with gratitude, painted a picture of a community that had finally found a glimpse of hope.

As she spoke, Mrs. Eunice urged the Kioga North community to recognise Mr. Okodo as a savior sent by God. “Let us stand by him and help him achieve his dream of entering parliament in 2026,” she implored, encouraged by the collective spirit of determination and faith that coursed through Agalo-Iping village.
