He urged the people of Awelo to rally behind him in his quest for change, promising to spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing the region’s growth and prosperity. “Together, we can bring meaningful development to Awelo,” Okello declared.

Supporting him in this endeavor, the speaker of Awelo sub-county echoed his sentiment, describing Okello as a capable individual committed to fostering progress in the area. “I encourage all residents of Awelo to support Dan Okello Eboko; he possesses the skills needed to drive our community forward,” the speaker remarked.

Community member Dominic Ongwen also expressed his readiness to back Okello, citing his competence and dedication shown throughout his journalism career. “Dan’s knowledge and experience are invaluable assets that he should leverage to promote development in Awelo,” Ongwen asserted.

Meanwhile, Andrew Ojok, the district registrar, revealed that over 34 individuals have already submitted their nomination forms to compete in various sub-counties for the upcoming elections. However, he noted that there has been no interest shown yet for the positions of district councillor for Agikdak or Agwingiri among male candidates.

As the electoral season heats up, Dan Okello Eboko’s candidacy is poised to invigorate the race for the district councillor seat in Awelo, with hopes of transformative change resonating throughout the community.
