On June 10, 2025, Mr. Okodo Peter officially entered the political arena by picking up his nomination form to contest for a seat in the 12th Parliament under the National Resistance Movement (NRM) ticket.
He joins over 200 other candidates vying for various positions, who have picked forms under NRM tickets for Members of parliaments and District chairpersons
