As the countdown begins to the first examination day on Friday with briefing , October 10, 2025, Dara Christian High School located along Ngetta Apala road, proudly stands ready with senior four candidates poised to undertake the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) 2025.
The school community gathered for a dedication prayer on October 5, 2025, where key figures shared words of encouragement and support for the students.
During the ceremony, the Deputy Academic Dara Christian High School Mr. Ocaloyi Anthony, inspired the candidates by urging them to apply all the skills and knowledge they have developed throughout their studies in response to examination questions.
He offered heartfelt thanks to the parents for their unwavering support, underscoring the vital role that family plays in the academic journey of their children. “As you step into this examination hall, remember that you are prepared; trust in the foundation you have built here,” Mr. Ocaloyi expressed passionately.
Following Mr. Ocaloyi’s address, the Chairperson of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), Mr. Ayo Geoffrey, also shared motivational thoughts.
He implored the candidates not to hesitate in seeking assistance from their teachers whenever needed, emphasizing the collaborative spirit of the educational environment.
Mr. Geoffrey then called upon fellow parents to join him in a collective prayer for the students to attain excellent results and secure a promising future. “Let us come together as a community to uplift our children; their success is our success,” he stated with conviction.
The Director Dara Christian High School, Mr.Okello Opio David , concluded the event with a powerful reminder of the core values essential for achieving academic excellence.
He highlighted the significance of discipline, hard work, loyalty, and consistency as cornerstones for outstanding results. “As you prepare for your exams, remember that these virtues will guide you not only in academics but throughout your lives.
Stay focused and diligent, and success will undoubtedly follow,” he advised.
With strong leadership and community support, the candidates of Dara Christian High School are ready to embrace the challenges ahead, armed with the encouragement and resources needed to excel in their examinations.
The entire school community wishes them the best of luck as they embark on this important milestone in their education.
The 2025 Senior Four (Uganda Certificate of Education – UCE) timetable begins with a candidate briefing on October 10, 2025, with the actual examinations starting on October 13, 2025. The specific start times for morning and afternoon sessions are 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, respectively, and candidates are expected to arrive by 8:30 AM.
On Monday 13th.Oct.2025 they shall have Geography 273/1 in the morning then After Biology Theory then in Tuesday they will fo only Physic 535/1 Theory.
