Canon Moses Ogwal, Headteacher of Namasale Technical School, is optimistic about his students’ performance as the school prepares to present an impressive cohort of 1,120 candidates for this year’s examinations.
With the exams scheduled from 21 November to 5 December 2025, Ogwal noted that attendance during the third term has been strong, ensuring that educational activities are thriving and final preparations are well underway.
“In our pursuit of excellence, we have implemented strategies to maximise student performance,” Ogwal stated.
He emphasised the importance of parents settling any outstanding fees promptly, as this will enable the school to secure essential examination materials.
“I commend those parents who have already ensured their children’s fees are up to date, as this greatly supports our goal of achieving successful outcomes.”
Ogwal is particularly confident of achieving a 100% pass rate this year—an ambitious yet attainable target given the efforts made so far.
He also addressed the sensitive issue of female students who may have become pregnant during their studies.
“I urge parents of pregnant daughters to bring them to Namasale Technical for vocational training. We aim to empower all students, regardless of their circumstances, with valuable skills that will enhance their future employability.”
Among the 1,120 candidates preparing for this year’s examinations, there are 805 boys and 315 girls, reflecting a diverse and dynamic student body.
Since Ogwal’s arrival at Namasale, he has witnessed remarkable improvements in both student engagement and academic standards. He continues to encourage parents to enrol their children at the school, assuring them of quality training and holistic development.
As the examination dates approach, the entire Namasale community remains focused and committed to fostering an environment in which every student can thrive and succeed.
