Ebenezer nursery and boarding primary school commits 61 pupils to God ahead of PLE exams

In a heartfelt ceremony, Ebenezer Nursery and Boarding Primary School, Amolatar district dedicated 61 of its pupils to God in preparation for their upcoming Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).

The event, filled with prayers and encouragement, emphasized the importance of faith, discipline, and parental support as the children embark on this pivotal academic journey.

Mr. Okello Goerge Remba, the esteemed guest of honor, addressed the candidates with inspiring words. He urged parents to persist in their prayers for their children, emphasizing that such spiritual support should continue even after the exams. “It is essential for our children to have a solid foundation of prayers as they grow into responsible individuals,” he noted, highlighting the critical role of faith in personal development.

Remba also called on the candidates to uphold values of discipline, respect, and unwavering commitment, stating, “You are the future generation, and your actions today will shape the world of tomorrow.” His message resonated deeply with both parents and students present, fostering a spirit of hope and determination.

Pastor Ojuka Thomas, the Director of Ebenezer Nursery and Boarding Primary School, commended parents for their steadfast support. “Your dedication has allowed these children to flourish,” said Pastor Ojuka, who reminded everyone of the school’s role in guiding and nurturing the pupils. He appealed for continued parental assistance, reinforcing that a strong partnership between home and school is vital for the children’s success.

As the long vacation approaches, he cautioned the candidates to remain focused, as it could be easy to engage in undesirable behaviors. “You must stay vigilant and avoid distractions,” he advised, reminding them of the importance of steering clear of negative influences and aimless wandering during their time off.

In further remarks, Pastor Ojuka encouraged the candidates by saying, “You have worked hard to reach this point, and we believe you will continue to carry yourselves with integrity and purpose.”

Mr. Obong Obia, the School Management Committee (SMC) chairperson, echoed these sentiments, urging parents to maintain their support as their children advance in education. He reminded parents to monitor their children’s movements closely, noting that vigilance is key to preventing them from straying from the right path. “Let us work together to ensure they remain on course,” he stressed.

Speaking on behalf of parents, Mr. Okao Denis expressed his view that there are no better schools than Ebenezer Nursery and Boarding Primary School, which instills discipline in its students. “We are grateful for the care and attention provided to our children, as reflected in their behavior,” he stated, showcasing the positive outcomes of the school’s nurturing environment.

Additionally, Olobo Ambrose from the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) reassured parents of the significant improvements made within the school.

He urged them to continue their support for their children’s education, highlighting the pivotal role of community involvement in fostering a brighter future for the students.

The dedication ceremony served not only as a spiritual commitment but also as a rallying call for community engagement in the children’s educational journeys, setting a hopeful tone for the PLE exams ahead.

Primary seven candidates according to Uneb will start their exams on 31st.Oct,2025 with briefing then real papers on 3rd and 4th.November.2025.
