Exceptional academic achievements: Muntu seed, Amolatar secondary, and Kings of Kings shine in UNEB 2025 results

As the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) announced the secondary school results for 2025 on Friday, schools in Amolatar and Lango region showcased outstanding performance.

Among the notable institutions were Muntu Seed Secondary School, Amolatar Secondary School, and Kings of Kings, each achieving remarkable results that speak volumes about the dedication of their students and staff.

At Muntu Seed Secondary School, the performance was particularly noteworthy with 83 students securing A’s, 902 earning B’s, 416 obtaining C’s, and only 8 students receiving D’s.

Remarkably, no students failed or received an E grade this year, marking a significant achievement in the academic landscape.

Mr. Ogangi Geoffrey, the head teacher of Muntu Seed, expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards the collective efforts of teachers, students, parents, and all stakeholders, who contributed to these exceptional results. He proudly noted that this is the second consecutive year that Muntu Seed students have excelled under the new lower secondary curriculum, emphasizing that this year’s outcomes are the best compared to those of 2024.

Mr. Ogangi also took the opportunity to urge parents of incoming senior one through three students to take proactive steps in enrolling their children, as the school continues to build on its record of academic excellence.

Meanwhile, at Amolatar Secondary School, head teacher Mr. Denis Patrick Odur Obia shared his immense joy regarding this year’s examination results.

He commended the dedication of parents, teachers, students, and other stakeholders for achieving outstanding performance, particularly with every one of the 107 candidates passing the exams successfully. He encouraged parents to enroll students into senior one and other classes as they have already commenced.

In addition to these achievements, Mr. Opio Jaspher, the Director of Kings of Kings, a private secondary school, expressed his appreciation for the trust placed in the school by parents and students, which has undoubtedly led to impressive academic outcomes.

The list of top achievers at Muntu Seed Secondary School reflects the school’s commitment to excellence, with students such as Ebine Amos, Egim Ivan, Ajwang Esther, and Ogangi Joshua leading the way among many others who have demonstrated commendable academic prowess.

Overall, the 2025 UNEB results not only highlight individual accomplishments but also underscore the collective effort within the educational community in Amolatar and Lango region to foster a culture of academic excellence.
