The Police Probationer Constable (PPC) recruitment exercise for the Aswa East Region was successfully concluded on 2 May 2025 at Alarm Technical School, located in Pader town council, Pader district.
The exercise, led by Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Barugahare Christopher, attracted a total of 101 applicants—78 males and 23 females. The recruitment process included a 5-kilometre physical fitness run, medical screening, oral interviews, and an aptitude test. Activities commenced at 8:38 a.m. and concluded at 2:00 p.m., with no major incidents reported.
Key officials who supervised the exercise included Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Okae Ben (Regional Police Commander – Aswa East), SSP Elwer Eugene (Regional Human Resource Officer), and Inspector of Police (IP) Oloya Joe (Regional Police Spokesperson – Aswa East). Mr Justin Ocen, the District Vice Chairperson, also took part by addressing the candidates alongside the lead officer.
Speaking after the exercise, IP Oloya Joe confirmed that the recruitment was carried out in a smooth, fair, and transparent manner.
