Mbarara city boda boda riders protest plan to merge stages

Boda Boda riders in Mbarara city have opposed the plan by Mbarara City security Committee to reduce the number of stages in the city.

 

On Friday last week, the office of Mbarara Resident City Commissioner gave Mbarara city council an ultimatum of 30 days to have all boda boda stages in the city gazatted and others emerged, a move that has drawn controversies within the boda boda industry.

 

Majid Ruganda the interim Chairperson Mbarara city Boda Boda Riders Association described the move as unfair and Unrealistic.
