UCC Erects Telecom Network In Rubaya Mbarara

Rubaya sub county in Mbarara district has acquired a network mast in a bid to enhance service delivery in the network stressed sub county.

The project funded by Uganda Communications commission (UCC) was implemented by Camtec.

Addressing journalists on Tuesday, at Bunenero parish in Rubaya sub county where the network mast was erected, Loyda Twinomujuni the lady councilor Rubaya sub county applauded Uganda Communications commission (UCC)  for considering Rubaya sub county with a net work mast.

According to Twinomujuni networking has been a major problem hindering the service delivery including mobile money services in the area.

Diaz Kiiza, the chairperson LC II Bunenero parish applauded the new development, however called on government to extend electricity lines to Bunenero parish.
