Sheema Suspected Cattle Thief Murdered, Body Set On Fire

Police in Sheema are investigating circumstances under which a 35-year-old man was murdered and his body set ablaze.

The deceased is Amon Nuwamanya a resident of Rwenjiri 1cell Kyengando parish Kigarama sub county Sheema District. 

The body of the deceased who is said to have been a habitual thief was on Tuesday 21/02/2023 at around 12:30 Pm found burnt in Katooma Community farm Nshongi 1cell, Katooma parish Kigarama sub county Sheema District.

Martial Tumusiime the greater Bushenyi police spokesperson says police found a spear near the deceased’s body.

The body of the deceased was conveyed to Kabwohe HCIV for post mortem as police investigations commence.
