Man hacks wife to death in Kibaale

Grief has engulfed residents of Omukasansa- Kanyogoga LCI in Mugarama Sub County, Kibaale district after a man identified as Enock Eriho Imaana murdered his wife identified as Rhoda Kichoncho using a panga over unknown reasons.

Patrick Baleeke, the village chairperson of Kanyogoga village says, the gruesome murder of Rhoda occured at around 1am Thursday morning and that the deceased was the first wife to the latter whom he had abandoned after marrying a second wife.

Enock Eriho Imaana has been arrested together with his second wife whose name were yet to be established but reported to have aided the murder.

Police has also pick up one Edisa a sister to Rhoda for allegedly with intent burnt down Eriho’s kitchen and toilet in an avenge attack.

Taddeo Tumusiime Magezi, the LC3 chairperson of Mugarama Sub County has condemned the brutal acts appealing to locals to always seek help from elders of leaders for redress of their grievances.

SP Esther Tumusiime Adeke, the Kibaale District Police Commander has confirmed the development saying three suspects are detained at Kibaale police cells on charges of murder and arson as investigations are ongoing.
