BACKGROUND

Started in January 2018, Karuguuza Development Radio- KDR 100.3 FM station offers several educational and participatory programming on basic human rights, land rights, health, family relations, education, business, gender consciousness, and politics towards Political socio-economic transformation of communities in Bunyoro sub region.

Mission:

The mission of Karuguuza Development Radio- KDR is to run Radio professionally through offering a Platform to the people by encouraging them participate in Political, Socio-economic activities for better livelihoods and harmonious living.

Vision:
Have a United Prosperous Community living harmoniously with Sustainable growth & Spiritual development in Kibaale but Bunyoro in particular.

Target Audience:

Karuguuza Development Radio has a target audience of leaders, men, women, elders, people with disability, youth, and children.

Coverage:

Karuguuza Development Radio reaches a wide and has vast listenership of over 4 million people mostly farmers, business fraternity and Locals in the districts of Kibaale, Kagadi, Kakumiro, Hoima, Kyegegwa, Bundibugyo, Kyenjojo and parts of Mubende, Mityana respectively.

Languages Used:
Karuguuza Development Radio Broadcasts majorly in Runyoro, Rutooro, Runyankore, Rukiga, Lukonzo, English, Luganda, and Kinyarwanda.
