Residents of Muziizi Village in Nyamarunda Subcounty, Kibaale District, are calling for leaders and security intervention after unknown people reportedly took the multimillion modern boat that was donated to them by the Buyanja MP and former Finance Minister, Matia Kasaija.

Residents led by Onani Tushabe, the Nyamarunda Subcounty Youth Councilor and Secretary for Finance and Lawrence Businge best known as Kigingi the Muziizi LCI Chairperson, say that the boat operated for about five months before it was grounded due to luck of skilled operators and mechanical problems.
Residents suspect that the boat was sold by Emmanuel Kemerwa the former LCI Chairperson of Muzizi village to a one Rajabu Rudeebo a resident of the same area who is forwarded it somewhere else.

A section of residents say that they recently received information from UPDF personnel guarding Kangombe Forest Reserve, that he cited the boat operating on the River area of Kataraaza areas of Bufunjo in Kyenjojo District.
