The Commissioner in the Ministry of Water and Environment, Joseph Epitu, has urged members of Parish Climate Change Committees in Rusenke, Kacu, and Nyamarwa parishes to intensify community sensitization on environmental conservation.

Epitu, who also coordinates the Least Developed Countries Initiative for Effective Adaptation and Resilience (LIFE-AR) program, made the call on Tuesday while meeting committee members at Kyebando B village.

He says the engagement was aimed at assessing transparency and accountability in the implementation of the LIFE-AR program in the district.
