Minister Kasaija, area MPs donate millions to leaders of PLU in Kibaale

Minister of Finance, Matia Kasaija has donated 2 million shillings to the Kibaale leaders of Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) to help in preparations of the forthcoming PLU Bunyoro thanksgiving ceremony.

Minister Kasaija who doubles as area MP Buyanja Constituency, had his donation delivered this week on his behalf by Ronald Tumusiime Jamil, the station manager Karuguuza Development Radio (KDR) 100.3FM at the MK office situated in Kikonge cell, Kibaale Town Council in Kibaale district.

The PLU Bunyoro sect is organising a thanksgiving ceremony to celebrate the appointment of PLU Chairman Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba as Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) of Uganda Peoples Defense Forces (UPDF).

The event will be graced by the PLU National Vice Chairman Michael Nuwagira Kaguta (chairman Toyota) as the chief guest on 29th this month at Hoima Booma grounds.

Minister Kasaija has also offered free radio program airtime to mobilize the public to grace the function.

Also, this week, Dr. Emely Kugonza the MP Buyanja East Constituency, handed over 2 million shillings cash and Woman MP Kibaale Noeline Kisembo Basemera, handed over 1 million shillings cash to help in preparations.

Led by Mwesige Atasingurwa the PLU district coordinator, the leaders have hailed Minister Kasaija and the area MPs for the financial support rendered to them pledging to mobilize the public to attend the function in Hoima come this Saturday.
